Defoamer is a highly concentrated, thick emulsion used to kill foam in many applications. Defoamer is used in hot water extraction carpet cleaning, especially if carpets have been shampooed with a high foaming detergent. Defoamer is effective for use when wet vacuuming such as when stripping floor finish and in automatic floor scrubbing machines. Defoamer allows recovery tanks to fill to capacity. It saves you time and prevents damaging foam overflows to vacuum motors.
